One of the best trips of my life! I absolutely loved Ecuador and the variety of landscapes it offers (from the coast to the Andes and the Amazon rainforest). The trip was very well organized and made easy for us. The guides were all very knowledgeable and generally helped us have a great time. Would absolutely repeat.

The customer service/advice I received from Responsible Travel is EXCELLENT. They have always been available. Jazmin, my consultant, always answered my questions very quickly, and I had A LOT. Her local knowledge of the region was invaluable, and the key to making my trip an adventure I will never forget!! The guides they put me in contact with were excellent!! I saw so many unique and RARE wildlife in Ecuador, many endemic to their country. It was truly a dream!

We visited Ecuador in April 2025 on a family vacation with another family, and were so thrilled that we planned our trip with and through Responsible Travel Ecuador! With a group of four adults and five kids ages 7-15, it was important for us to have a fun adventure with a good mix of learning history, cultural immersion, and memorable fun. The team from Responsible Travel Ecuador delivered and exceeded our expectations! Our tour guide David was knowledgeable and flexible, and the office team (Ana, Diego, and Alejandra) worked behind the scenes to make sure our time was well-scheduled and seamlessly adjusted when weather did not cooperate or a new idea sprung up. The 8-day agenda was thoughtfully created to give us a taste of Ecuador's diverse geography, magical nature, delicious cuisine, and beautiful people! Accommodations were conveniently located and offered breathtaking views, and the entire team was very communicative before the trip and during our time in Ecuador. Responsible Travel Ecuador played a huge role in us falling in love with Ecuador and we can't wait to return! Until we do, we are telling our social circles to book quickly. 🙂

My thanks to Riwal for organising and overseeing a wonderful, stress-free trip. Riwal’s patience and prompt responses during the planning stages were greatly appreciated. The reassurance of knowing Riwal was always accessible via WhatsApp whilst we were travelling provided invaluable support throughout our journey. His communication was consistently excellent, keeping in touch with us daily to ensure we were well prepared for the day ahead. In addition to Riwal’s guidance, the local agents responsible for organising our daily tours and drivers were outstanding. They kept us informed in a timely manner and regularly followed up to check on how our days unfolded. These efforts contributed significantly to the smooth running of our trip. All the places we visited were well worth the experience and enriched by invaluable conversations with experienced and knowledgeable guides. Our guides made the trip special; we learnt heaps, their local knowledge was exceptional as was the manner they engaged with us. Overall, our accommodation and service couldn’t be faulted, especially in San Pedro, Santiago and Puerto Natales. The tour enabled us to successfully travel through jaw dropping landscapes, experience the fullness of Chile and engage with interesting people. It was a memorable and enjoyable experience.

Maria at Responsible Travel was recommended by relatives who had recently visited Ecuador. She helped us book a trip that included a Galapagos cruise, Quito stay and tour, and Amazon Lodge. She was very patient and helpful as we evaluated various options, and incredibly responsive throughout. When we had a couple of glitches during the trip, she was right on top of it, including retrieving a wallet and some jewelry our daughter forgot on the cruise ship and having it delivered to us in Quito before we returned home. All the guides, the cruise ship and the lodge were great. Would 110% recommend.

The great thing about our trip is that we don’t have to plan for it, that we have a guide that is knowledgeable about the history of the place, that every thing about the trip is being taken care of including the flights.

My primary contact was Diego based in Quito and he oversaw the team handling my trip to to Chile/Patagonia region. Everything went to plan when I arrived. I had the most wonderful and professional guides. Top class hotels too. My trip will always be on my mind

We could not be happier with our experience with this agency. The service provided by Maria Jose, who was our trip coordinator, was outstanding from day one. She made sure to understand our goals and vision for the trip, and was patient enough to work through multiple itinerary versions until we finalized it together. The chose the correct hotels, routes, and activities based on what we spoke about, and the guides/personnel on the ground that they reserved for us were trustworthy, puntual, and very knowledgeable. Every day they checked in on us with a text, to make sure that everything was going accordingly, which is a sign of excellent service. I highly recommend working with Maria Jose/Tamer and the entire Responsible Ecuador Travel team - I will do so for my next trip as well. 5/5, thank you!

What can you say, Responsible travel made our adventure to Ecuador in the Galapagos simply outstanding. From every little detail, Cynthia took care of us and the entire team coordinated a memorable event for me and my family. All of the daily adventures were highly coordinated with extensive attention to the customers needs. Everything was taken care of in every detail. Polite, courteous and professional, all rank as key traits for all participants.

The company's service and availability was excellent. Help with problems and solutions was excellent, they didn't leave until the problem was solved. Personal accompaniment. The guide was a bit strict and treated us as if we were children and this was on a general trip.
