The most important thing, if you are undergoing treatment that requires regular medication intake or have allergies, is to include enough medication for the duration of your stay in your luggage for Galapagos. Check the set of papers to take with you: passport, travel documents, tickets, travel insurance (it is absolutely necessary to travel in Ecuador), and vaccination certificates (if any).

- If you will be using several means of transportation (aircraft, buses, canoes, etc.) during your trip to Ecuador, it is imperative to limit your luggage. unnecessary luggage can be stored in your city hotel. If going into the jungle or doing very "active" trips it is also better to travel with backpacks instead of suitcases.

Cameras & Binoculars
Films and batteries can be purchased on Santa Cruz and San Cristobal. Don't forget the chargers for your cameras. We also recommend that you include an extra memory card for your cameras in your luggage for Galapagos. Waterproof padded cases are a must.
It is essential to bring comfortable and weather-appropriate clothing for your trip to Galapagos, such as t-shirts, shorts, a hat, and sunscreen. Don't forget your medications, insect repellent, and personal hygiene items. Check the list of documents you should carry with you.
It is prohibited to transport unprocessed plant and animal products that could spread diseases or pests to the Galapagos Islands.
